Many children living in previously disadvantaged communities in South Africa do not attend school. Usually this is because they cannot afford school fees or because of bad behaviour. This project works with a small group of children from a township area in Kwazulu Natal. By providing organised play activities (football games, swimming lessons etc) we can connect with the children and their communities and encourage school attendance, good behaviour and educational achievement. These children want to learn but they have little experience of discipline or containment. Through play and relationships we can provide that for them. Help by sponsoring a child's education for a term.
